This is a body of work that I started in the summer of '97 and is on-going. At the root of every photo shoot is a meditation in which I lead the person I am working with into a state of communion with the place, energy or colours we are dealing with. They are embodiments of prayer. It is a photographic journey into the other kingdoms. I have chosen to use the human body as a channel for these energies, to create an icon that is familiar through which to have a more intimate experience of things normally unseen.
